The Groo-V Tip Multi-purpose Masonry Bits can make holes in almost all materials, but they are best suited for tile, hard metal, plastic, wood, marble, granite and masonry. Because of the differing densities of tile marble and granite, the number of holes may vary. Slow drilling speeds are recommended, and in some cases, marble and granite may not be drillable with carbide tools. Engineered for drilling hard materials, these specialized Ram Tip Bits have a serrated carbide tip, which penetrates faster – up to 50% faster than standard masonry bits! (A drill press-supported drill motor is recommended for drilling hard metal.)
